War Paint:
Profiles of Courage

November 1 – December 10, 2021

PROJECT SPACE 340 located in the Arcos Building, 340 Central Ave.

In honor of the brave individuals who have served their country, Ringling College is proud to present the second annual “War Paint: Profiles in Courage.” Featuring portraits of local veterans painted by Ringling College students and faculty, this exhibition offers viewers the opportunity to come face to face with the uniformed heroes whose contributions form a piece of the mosaic that is America’s identity.

The images tell stories from WWll, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and current enlisted troops, and it is the hope of Ringling College Galleries that they will put a human face to these conflicts that captures what’s at stake for our service men and women.

This exhibition will be on view from November 1–December 10, 2021. In-person viewings are free and open to the public Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm. PS340 is located at 340 Central Avenue, on the first floor of the Arcos building in downtown Sarasota.
