At Ringling College of Art and Design, figure drawing has remained one of the most important academic and artistic pillars within its curriculums. Studying the human form, gesture, expression, movement, and anatomy helps provide students with the necessary foundation for creating realistic and believable characters, illustrations, animations, sculpture, and paintings. 

The Figure Enhancement Workshop, known as FEWs, is a student-run and student-funded life drawing studio at Ringling College. Throughout the school week, FEWs provides opportunities for students to practice their figure drawing skills outside the classroom.

This exhibition will serve as a fundraiser to provide current students the opportunity to explore and learn as a community free of charge. On view is a collection of celebration of the versatility of the human figure through the hands of FEWs students, exploring the breadth of style and emotion that can come from the simplicity of a human being on a page. All work is framed and for sale with 100% of the proceeds benefiting The Figure Enhancement Workshop.
