ligature XIII: Expansion
february 24-march 24, 2023
LOIS + DAVID STULBERG GALLERY

Celebrating its 13th year, Ringling Type Club presents Ligature XIII: Expansion - a juried exhibition showcasing the typographic excellence of the Ringling College student body. This exhibition features works from every major in various categories such as Drop Cap, Type in Motion, Hand Lettering, and Books & Publication.

Ligature XIII: Expansion is the transition from architectural themes into new avenues of execution and style. We express this through a collection of posters for the show created by students from various majors at Ringling College. Through this theme, our goal is to show that typography is an essential part of every path of Art & Design, and should be considered as such.

This year’s exhibition was directed by Art Morris and produced by members of Ringling Type Club including Diego Villarreal, Katelyn Matikonis, Foster Hirsch, Avery Frost, & Dave Scheele.
