A Plate for All:
Combating Food Insecurity & Food Waste
JANUARY 20 - february 11, 2023
LOIS + DAVID STULBERG GALLERY
A Plate for All is a collaborative artistic initiative by Ringling College of Art + Design students focused on raising awareness of food insecurity and food waste in our community. In partnership with local Sarasota nonprofits, Transition Sarasota and All Faiths Food Bank, the exhibition aims to raise awareness of these issues while educating viewers on how to help. The gallery is curated by two Ringling College students part of the Lazarus Engaged Learning Assistantship, a 4-year immersive program where selected students engage in service oriented leadership, project development, and collaborative opportunities. Learn about the problem of food waste and how you can help in a mural divided into 64 pieces and colored in by different artists, and view artwork as part of a charity zine project on food insecurity.
